Another first!
August 27, 2008 at 4:13 pm | In Uncategorized | Leave a CommentSome friends decided to treat Mommy and Daddy to dinner last night at their FAVORITE restaurant… Mi Mexico. Luckily, I got to come along. Wanna see what I did???
That’s right, I sat in a highchair all by myself and ate with all the big people. I’m not quite tall enough yet to sit completely up to the table… but I’m getting closer!!!
Just thought I would share with everyone!
Some pictures
August 26, 2008 at 4:01 pm | In Uncategorized | Leave a CommentSo Mommy and Daddy took me to the store the other day. Normally, I have to sit in my car seat and they just strap it the cart thingy. But Mommy has been wanting to see what would happen if she put me in the cart…
Apparently this is how big boys sit in the cart thingys at the store… Mommy was so proud that she had to take a picture with her cell phone. I think she sent it to everyone we know… so I figured I could post it here and get away with it.
Also, Mommy decided that I should be able to have some mashed potatoes the other night… I got to feed myself… check it out!!!
Yeah, I got it all over me. Mommy was so proud though. She says that I can have them every night if I want to. I think I ate 1/4 cup or something. They’re yummy.
Mommy also took a picture of me when I woke up from my nap one day… since her camera is broken, she has been taking pictures with her cell phone… they’re kinda icky, but that’s okay. At least we have some pictures. Check it out!!!
Well, that’s all for now… I gotta run. I’m a very busy boy you know!
Fair 2008
August 19, 2008 at 12:05 am | In Uncategorized | Leave a CommentHello everyone!!! I haven’t been around for the last week to post anything because I’ve been making new friends at the NorthWest Washington Fair. It was super fun, and Mommy, Auntie Barb, Grandma Jan and I all stayed together in Grandma Jan’s motor home. Cousins Cody and Dylan stayed in our tent outside the motor home. It was so much fun. We walked around, hung out in my new pool, and played with my new friend. Wanna meet her???
This is my new friend Madilyn. She’s 4 months older than me, and is SOOOO much fun. Plus she’s super cute. Mommy couldn’t get enough of her. She really liked all her outfits and her cute curly hair. Mommy says that we’re gonna be good friends… I hope so. She’s cute.
This is me, and Madi, and Mommy outside Auntie Barb’s isle in the horse barn. You’d never know it, because it’s all decorated. It was super cute, and we just couldn’t resist taking a picture out there. It took us a few tries, but it came out cute.
Madi wanted to play with all my cool toys. So I let her… because I’m so super nice like that. It was fun playing with her.
Madi was laughing and screeching… she was talking to everyone… except me. But that’s okay. Someday she will. I just know it.
Madi’s grandma Val took these pictures. Mommy’s camera is broken. Thanks Val for sending the pictures to Mommy so I could post them on my blog.
That’s all for now peeps! Be good.
I’m getting better
August 4, 2008 at 6:32 pm | In Uncategorized | Leave a CommentWell, first things first… I now have a tooth… and a second one coming in. I don’t really know why I’m getting them, but they’re pretty cool. Except Mommy keeps trying to get in my mouth and take a picture. So far, I’ve been able to keep her out… but we’ll see how long that lasts.
I’m getting pretty good at this crawling thing… wanna see???
Breakfast
August 2, 2008 at 9:13 pm | In Uncategorized | Leave a CommentWell, Mommy decided that today would be the day that she got out the camera while I was eating my breakfast. Yeah. Rude, I know. But… I have to admit… there are some pretty cute pictures of me in here. Just see for yourself!!!
That’s my new high chair. I love, love, love it… well, only because I know that I’m going to get food when I get in it. That’s the only reason. Otherwise I think it’s just silly. And that frog? His little fly thingy makes the whole chair vibrate. It’s pretty cool.
I always start off my breakfast with some oatmeal. But Mommy didn’t think to have the camera ready this morning when she started to feed me… something about how she was tired, whatever. Anyway, after my oatmeal, then I usually eat some sort of fruit. Today, it was pears. MMMMMM, I love pears.
Mommy didn’t think to get the camera until I was like half way done with them. They were so tasty. I ate the whole thing.
Usually, after I eat both my cereal and my fruit, I am done. But today, I was super extra hungry (what? This growing thing is really hard!). So Mommy gave me some of my favorite… prunes
They were left over from last night… so I ate the rest of them.
Sometimes, I get a little messy… but Mommy says that all babies do that… I don’t know… I don’t like being messy.
After I got done eating, Mommy let me play on the floor for a little while before my nap… she’s such a good Mommy like that.
ooh look, there it is again… I wonder…
yup, definately tastes super good.
what? I didn’t do it. You did!
Then I started to get tired… so Mommy picked me up, gave me some kisses, and made me pose for another picture before my nap…
All in all, I would say this was a very productive morning….
Did I mention that I’m getting a tooth????
My day at the lake
August 2, 2008 at 8:40 pm | In Uncategorized | Leave a CommentHi everyone!!! It’s been a long time since I’ve posted anything, and really, that’s because there hasn’t been a lot going on. Last week, we went to the lake, it was really fun. Here a some of the pictures that Mommy took.

That’s Mommy in the water with Auntie Barb’s friend Echo and her son Sebastian. I was watching from the shore. I didn’t know about this whole lake thing. It’s WAY bigger than that big bathtub looking thing at Auntie Barb’s house.

That’s Mommy, Cousin Cody, Echo, and Sebastian all the way out in the middle of the lake. I couldn’t go out that far, I’m not that good of a swimmer… yet.

This is what we got to look at all day. It was so nice… the water is so pretty and the trees are so green. I like the lake.

Hey look! It’s Mommy and Daddy!!!

I wanted to take a nap, so Mommy put a towel in my carseat for me to snuggle with. It’s not as soft as my blanket, but it worked. I was SO tired.

That’s me and Mommy in the water. She didn’t want to take me too far out because I might have gotten scared. It would have been okay… I’m a big boy. Maybe she’ll take me out father next time we go. I wanted to eat all those little rock thingys… Mommy wouldn’t let me. So I had to get out of the water.

Cousin Dylan was trying to figure out how to put on my front pack. He’s so silly.

It was a really fun day!!! I can’t wait to do it again.
Mommy took some pictures of me eating today that she said I could post. So you might just get another post today! YAY!
Happy monthday to me! Happy monthday to me!
July 21, 2008 at 9:41 pm | In Uncategorized | Leave a CommentSo yesterday was my 5 month birthday. I know, I know, I’m getting so old. Daddy says that we’re going to have to get me a cane pretty soon. I don’t know what that means, but I’m pretty sure it’s not nice at all.
A lot has happened since I talked to you all. I’ve been exploring the house a little more, and Mommy has been getting me new things to play with. We’ve been spending some time at Auntie Barb’s house, swimmin in that big bathtub like thing. It’s been really fun.
That’s my Uncle Zack. He let me come and sit with him on that big orange thing. It’s pretty neat. You can push buttons, and pull levers, and it scoops stuff up. I really like watching him on that thing.
Uncle Tim got me a new toy, it’s this cool thing that stcks into a tower, or breaks into balls. But really, I just wanna eat his phone. It’s shiny and it lights up.
Uncle Tim also got me this cool seat thing. Mommy says that it will help me to sit up on my own. I’m not sure about that, but it’s nice to have it to sit outside and Auntie Barb’s and watch Uncle and Daddy on those 4-wheeler things.

Okay, so I discovered this new thing. If you push with those leg things, and pull with those arm things, you can reach things that are far away. Mommy said I shouldn’t be doing that yet because I’m too young. I say pfffft on her, I like doing it. It’s really fun.
That’s all I have for today. But Mommy has more…. go visit her here!
Dear Daddy
July 10, 2008 at 4:33 pm | In Uncategorized | Leave a CommentIn my short time on the planet, I have learned many things. One of those things is that Daddy’s are super cool. You go away for a while during the day (Mommy says you have to go to that work place… it doesn’t sound like very much fun), but when you come home, you always wanna play with me. And when you don’t have to go to that work place, you spend a lot of time just hanging out with me. It’s really fun. I can’t wait until I get a little older and can move around so that we can play that Tag game that Mommy’s always telling me about.
Mommy says that we’re going to make you a special dinner, and then we’re gonna have that cake stuff. She says that today is a very special day that we celebrate every year. She says that today is your birthday. Is that true? Are you really gonna have that cake stuff? Can I have a piece? Mommy said no, but I figured if I asked you, you might let me. Since it’s your special day and all. Maybe you’re gonna be in a special mood.
I hope you’re having a good day at that work place today… I can’t wait to see you when you get to Auntie Barb’s house. I’m not quite sure why we’re here, but Auntie is not… which makes me sad… but Mommy says she’ll be back soon.
Anyway, I was writing this letter to tell you Happy Birthday! I miss you. Can’t wait to see you!!!
Love, Oliver
My mommy loves me
June 30, 2008 at 10:23 pm | In Uncategorized | Leave a CommentWanna know how I know? Because when it’s super hot outside (like 500 billion degrees… okay, maybe not that much, but it’s sure hot) she takes me to that big cold bathtub place and puts me in. This weekend, I got to go in much further than I ever have before…
I had so much fun. I didn’t get to stay in for very long because as you can see… Mommy has a MAJOR sunburn and she didn’t want to stay in the pool for a long, long time. That’s okay though. We get to go again today. I love summer.
Uncle loves me too… see?
That’s all for now. It’s been a busy weekend.
This thing called water
June 28, 2008 at 12:13 am | In Uncategorized | Leave a CommentSo Mommy took me to Auntie Barb’s house today. I love Auntie Barb’s house. There’s so many things to do there. Cousins Cody and Dylan are there. Uncles Tim and Justin stop by all the time. She has a fan on her ceiling… there’s all kinds of things to do. But today when we got there, Mommy made me put on these funny short things and put that greasy stuff all over my body to protect me from that big bright thing in the sky…
If I had known what was coming next, I might not have let her do that without me fussing.
Cousin Cody was in charge of the camera… and outside we went.
It was neat. It was kinda like a big bathtub outside. I was excited to get in. You can’t really tell from this picture. Mommy says this is my concentrating face. I like to call it my serious business face.
We got in. Cousin took some pictures…
You can’t see it in any of these pictures, but I got in the water. Up to the top of these weird short things. I did it. And I kinda liked it. We’re going to go back on Sunday. Tomorrow we have baseball to watch. Maybe I will make Mommy take pictures of that too. I hope we get to do this swimming thing all summer. It’s really fun.
