Happy monthday to me! Happy monthday to me!
July 21, 2008 at 9:41 pm | In Uncategorized | Leave a CommentSo yesterday was my 5 month birthday. I know, I know, I’m getting so old. Daddy says that we’re going to have to get me a cane pretty soon. I don’t know what that means, but I’m pretty sure it’s not nice at all.
A lot has happened since I talked to you all. I’ve been exploring the house a little more, and Mommy has been getting me new things to play with. We’ve been spending some time at Auntie Barb’s house, swimmin in that big bathtub like thing. It’s been really fun.
That’s my Uncle Zack. He let me come and sit with him on that big orange thing. It’s pretty neat. You can push buttons, and pull levers, and it scoops stuff up. I really like watching him on that thing.
Uncle Tim got me a new toy, it’s this cool thing that stcks into a tower, or breaks into balls. But really, I just wanna eat his phone. It’s shiny and it lights up.
Uncle Tim also got me this cool seat thing. Mommy says that it will help me to sit up on my own. I’m not sure about that, but it’s nice to have it to sit outside and Auntie Barb’s and watch Uncle and Daddy on those 4-wheeler things.

Okay, so I discovered this new thing. If you push with those leg things, and pull with those arm things, you can reach things that are far away. Mommy said I shouldn’t be doing that yet because I’m too young. I say pfffft on her, I like doing it. It’s really fun.
That’s all I have for today. But Mommy has more…. go visit her here!
Dear Daddy
July 10, 2008 at 4:33 pm | In Uncategorized | Leave a CommentIn my short time on the planet, I have learned many things. One of those things is that Daddy’s are super cool. You go away for a while during the day (Mommy says you have to go to that work place… it doesn’t sound like very much fun), but when you come home, you always wanna play with me. And when you don’t have to go to that work place, you spend a lot of time just hanging out with me. It’s really fun. I can’t wait until I get a little older and can move around so that we can play that Tag game that Mommy’s always telling me about.
Mommy says that we’re going to make you a special dinner, and then we’re gonna have that cake stuff. She says that today is a very special day that we celebrate every year. She says that today is your birthday. Is that true? Are you really gonna have that cake stuff? Can I have a piece? Mommy said no, but I figured if I asked you, you might let me. Since it’s your special day and all. Maybe you’re gonna be in a special mood.
I hope you’re having a good day at that work place today… I can’t wait to see you when you get to Auntie Barb’s house. I’m not quite sure why we’re here, but Auntie is not… which makes me sad… but Mommy says she’ll be back soon.
Anyway, I was writing this letter to tell you Happy Birthday! I miss you. Can’t wait to see you!!!
Love, Oliver
